Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala says (Qur'an Translation): Then We revealed to Musa (saying)! Strike the sea with your staff. And (as he did this) it parted, (causing many through ways) and each part was like a huge mountain. (Ash-Shu'ara' 26:63)
