Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala says (Translation): And who give food-however great may be their own need and desire for it- to the needy, and the orphan and the captive. (Saying) we feed you, only for the sake of Allah and we wish no reward, nor thanks from you. (Al-Insan 76: 8-9)
